Meet Charlie Guy, Your Private Tutor

Hello! I’m Charlie, a passionate English tutor with a love for literature and language. I hold Master’s degrees in both English and Human Anatomy, and my literary specialisms span the Gothic, Romantic, and Victorian periods. With a deep enthusiasm for poetry, Shakespeare, and the supernatural in literature, I'm excited to share these interests with my students—though I’m more than happy to explore any literary topic you may need help with!

Alongside my academic background, I also hold an Education and Training Level III certificate, equipping me with the skills to deliver engaging and effective lessons. Originally from Leicestershire, I moved to Scotland in 2016 and have since enjoyed bringing my love for English to students at various levels, from KS3 and GCSE to A-Level, Nat5, and Highers. My experience includes two terms with the AimHigher programme, where I supported secondary school students in the North West, fostering confidence and skill in English.
